Linda has over 18 years experience working in the Financial Markets industry in the City of London. Her experience covers a broad range of business analysis, consultancy and project management roles. This experience has been gained across a wide range of business and functional areas – PMO, Back Office, Middle Office/Product Control, Front Office, Finance, Audit, and IT. Linda is a qualified Accountant and Project Manager. She is also a qualified practitioner for ISEB Programme and Project Support Office (PSO) and Prince2.

- Strong record of delivery in the roles of: portfolio, programme & project management office (PMO); programme & project support office (PSO); business analysis; and consulting
- Set up of global PMOs to manage IT project delivery
- Cross functional business knowledge from execution to control and an understanding of financial accounting, budgeting and control
- Effective interface between IT and various business areas
- The ability to talk to clients and staff of all levels and functions, and to understand issues from their point of view
- Discussion, understanding and documentation of requirements and business processes
- Review of system flows, data flows and storage. Identification of bottlenecks or failure points in a process, and working with IT to improve straight through processing
- IT and Business Change management within Investment Banking Operations and Product Control from initial business analysis to implementation of process improvements and cost reductions
- Formulation and delivery of an IT Strategy for Banking Operations and Product Control, including the vendor selection analyses and solution recommendations
- Discussion of requirements and priorities with the users, understanding the possible technical solutions proposed by IT, and managing the delivery from within the business
- An understanding of the keys to successful implementations: stakeholder support; high-quality specification of requirements; change control; and good resource management
- Delivery in all aspects of a typical project lifecycle including: programme management; user requirements analysis and specification; reference data requirements; user testing; change control; implementation; and post project review.
