Losing sleep over filing your self-assessment tax return?
-
HMRC's Making Tax Digital from 6 April 2026 - are you ready? (*)
-
Starting a small business and worried by numbers and finances?
-
Need help with your business' strategic plan and financial reporting?

Sole Traders, Contractors and Freelancers
-
If you earn more than £50,000 self-employed income and rental income before expenses, Making Tax Digital (MTD) and quarterly submissions for UK Income Tax is mandatory from 6 April 2026.
-
I can assist you by providing bookkeeping and quarterly HMRC returns for MTD. Little and often bookkeeping is now required. For the 2026/27 tax year you cannot wait and do it all at year-end.
-
In addition, I will implement the MTD-compliant cloud-based software for you, which is now required for digital record-keeping and quarterly updates. If the coding is done regularly, then all you will need to do for the quarterly submission to HMRC is press the button!
-
While you do not legally need a separate business bank account for Making Tax Digital (MTD) in the UK if you are a sole trader, I strongly recommend it. A dedicated business account prevents mixing personal and business finances, making quarterly digital reporting to HMRC much easier and reducing errors. Online banking and a separate Business Bank account will also cut the costs of bookkeeping.
-
You can use the ‘Receipt Snap’ functionality on the Online App to capture your receipts, invoices, and documents on the go, and the ‘Pay now’ buttons on invoices, means that you will get paid faster.

Let me take the burden of the financial side of your business, making your life easier, freeing up your time for what is important to you.
